விளக்கம்:
கேள்வியால் அடைகின்ற அறிவே செல்வங்களுள் சிறந்த செல்வம் ஆகும்; அந்தக் கேள்விச் செல்வம் பிற செல்வங்களுள் எல்லாம் முதன்மையானதும் ஆகும்.

Explanation:
The best wealth of all the Wealth is the Knowledge gained by listening;
this is greatest wealth to be acquired.

P.S.Everybody wants to talk, but the good things occur by listening.

கம்பராமாயணம் இன்று..

எண்ணரும் நலத்தினாள் இளையள் நின்றுழி
   கண்ணொடு கண்ணினைக் கவ்வி ஒன்றையொன்று
உண்ணவும் நிலைபெறாமல் உணர்வும் ஒன்றிட
   அண்ணலும் நோக்கினான் - அவளும் நோக்கினாள்.
                     - கம்பராமாயணம்

விளக்கம்:
நினைக்க இனியவள், சிறு வயதினள் முற்றத்தில் நின்று தெருவில் செல்லும் இராமரை பார்க்க;
கண்கள் நான்கும் ஒன்றை ஒன்று கவ்விக் கொண்டு, உண்ணத்தொடங்கின;
அப்போது அலையும் தன்மை கொண்ட மனம் கூட ஒன்றியது;
அவ்வாறாக இராமரும், சீதையும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் பார்த்தனர்.

Explanation:
A lovable girl, in her tender age glimpses the Street from the parapet. The girl’s eye finds another pair and each of them starts to snatch each other, started eating. Even the dynamic emotions stabilized and they are united together. Thus Rama saw Sita.

P.S.
Without this incident Rama will not be able to break the bow of King Janaka (Her Sight is the secret of my energy!!).

திருக்குறள் இன்று..

விளக்கற்றம் பார்க்கும் இருளேபோல் கொண்கன்
முயக்கற்றம் பார்க்கும் பசப்பு. (1186)

விளக்கம்:
விளக்கின் முடிவை எதிர்பார்த்துத் தான் வரக்காத்திருக்கும் இருளைப் போல, என் தலைவனுடைய
தழுவலின் முடிவைப்பசலையும் எதிர்பார்த்துக் காத்திருக்கின்றது.

Explanation:
Like the darkness waiting for the end of the light, the Skin syndrome caused by
pangs of separation is waiting for the embrace of the my lover.

P.S. பசலை = பெண்களுக்கு மட்டுமே வரும் காதல் நோய்; அதனால் தோலில் உண்டாகும் நிற மாற்றம்; பெரும்பாலும் பொன்னிறமா மாறி இருக்கும்.
Pasalai = The Skin syndrome normally occurs for ladies, because of the love bug ; the skin color normally will become more like golden brown. As soon as lovers united I will disappear.
Normally disease caused if any bio-organism enters into body, but this love bug leaves thus causes the malady :)

திருக்குறள் இன்று..

விளக்கம்:
நிலவே! என் உள்ளத்தில் பிரியாதிருந்து, என்னைப் பிரிந்து சென்ற காதலரை
என் கண்ணால் தேடிக் காண்பதற்காக, நீயும்வானத்தில் மறையாமல் இருப்பாயாக.

Explanation:
Oh Moon! My lover, who is nearby in the dreams, had left me.
You should prevail in the sky high and clear so that I can seek him.

P.S. Moon is symbolism for love. And even every lover-alone will share the pangs of separation with moon.

கம்பராமாயணம் இன்று..

அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று பெற்றான், அஞ்சிலே ஒன்றைத் தாவி
    அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று ஆறு ஆக, ஆர் உயிர் காக்க ஏகி
அஞ்சிலே ஒன்று பெற்ற அணங்கைக் கண்டு அயலார் ஊரில்
    அஞ்சிலே ஒன்றை வைத்தான், அவன் எம்மை அளித்துக் காப்பான்
                                                              - கம்பராமாயணம்

விளக்கம்:
உலகம் ஐந்து பொருட்களால் ஆனது. மண், தண்ணீர், நெருப்பு, காற்று, ஆகாயம் ஆகியவையே.

அனுமன் ஐந்திலே ஒன்றாகிய காற்றின் மகன். ஐந்தில் ஒன்றாகிய மண் (பூமி தேவி) பெற்ற மகள் சீதை. அவளைக் காண்பதற்காக அனுமன் ஐந்தில் ஒன்றாகிய தண்ணீரைத் (கடல்) தாவுகின்றான். ஐந்தில் ஒன்றாகிய ஆகாயத்தை வழியாகக் (ஆறு - வழி) கொண்டு இராமனின்
உயிராகிய சீதையைக் காப்பாற்றச் செல்கிறான். அங்கு சென்று ஐந்தில் ஒன்றாகிய தீயை வைத்து அரக்கரை வென்ற அனுமான் நம்மைக் காப்பான் என்று கூறும் கம்பனின் பாடலே இது.

Poem:
This is the poem from Kamba-Ramayanam (Ramayanam by Kambar). The world is made of five matters Soil, Water, Fire, Air and Ether. Here he tells about the travel trail of Anjineya.

“Child of the one of the Penta-matter(1), crosses another one penta-matter(2);
And through the other penta-matter(3) he travels, He goes to the “Soul of Rama - Sita”;
Who is a Child of a penta-matter(4), In the other city he leaves the one of the Penta-matter(5);
This man will give us and protect us.”

Explanation:
1 = Air [Anjineya is the Son of Vayu, God of Air]
2 = Water [The Sea/Lake between Mainland and Mythological Island (Not the present day Lanka)]
3 = Air [He travels in “Body Airlines”]
4 = Soil [Sita – Daughter of Earth]
5 = Fire [He lit up Fire in the Mythological City in Lanka]

விளக்கம்:
அறத்திற்கே அன்பு துணையாகும் என்று சொல்பவர் அறியாதவர். ஆராய்ந்தால் மறச் செய்கைகளுக்கும் அன்பே துணையிருக்கும்.

Explanation:
“Charity only need affection”, says the ignorant. If you investigate;
Valor also needs love.

P.S. Rama would not be able to broke the “Siva’s Bow”, if Sita had not let her trivial sight on him.
