விளக்கம்:
ஒருவனுடைய குற்றத்தைத் தகுந்த வழிகளாகவே ஆராய்ந்து, மீளவும் அதைச் செய்யாதபடி;
குற்றத்திற்குத் தகுந்தபடி தண்டிப்பதே வேந்தன் கடமையாகும்.

Explanation:
The deed of the Judge is to investigate the crime in proper way;
and provide the punishment for the crime so that the accused will not commit it again.
