பழிச்சொல்லால் காதலைத் தணித்துவிடுவோம் என்று முயலுதல் நெய்யால் நெருப்பை அவிப்போம்;
என்பது போன்ற அறியாமைச் செயலாகும்.

Explanation:
If one thinks that of quenching the sense of Love by rebuke, it’s a mindless job;
Like one trying to smother the fire by using the oil.
